Shipment of the Black Pearl variant of the Galaxy S7 edge being delayed till January 1, Samsung has listed the smartphone on its Indian e-commerce portal.
The website confirms that the device will be shipped to its Indian customer from December 30. Also, as compared to the existing color variants of the smartphone, including the recently announced Gold Pink variant, the glossy Black Pearl one is priced higher. Listed at Rs 56,900, the new glossy black variant of the Galaxy S7 edge also comes with a larger 128GB internal storage.
In India, the Galaxy S7 edge features a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge sAMOLED display. The resolution is Quad HD at 2560×1440 pixels. India gets the Samsung Exynos processor version; the S7 edge runs the octa-core 8890 processor coupled with 4GB RAM.
On the camera front, the phone sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel auto-focus, PDAF and optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.7 aperture. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Armed with a 3,600mAh battery, it also comes with features like Quick Charge 2.0 and Wireless Fast Charging.
